My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were incredibly spacious and had a large couch and TV waiting for us when we arrived, making it one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. They were not only very comfortable but also had all the amenities we needed. The hotel exuded so much character and ambiance, which added to the overall experience.

The hotel was amazing, very clean and had lots of little touches that made it a great experience. The rooms were clean and everything tidy around the hotel, kept our children amply entertained. However, it was a little disappointing for an executive room.

The hotel offers a mix of charm and modern comfort in a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and cozy with an old house vibe, though a bit dark and near the air conditioning facility. The location is convenient on the outskirts of the city with friendly staff, yet lacking in some spa areas. The dining experience is excellent with a varied menu but a letdown overall. A place with high standards and friendly service but could use some improvements in certain areas.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was perfect with beautiful surroundings and easy access to the city center, but the room amenities did not meet my expectations, and the dining options fell a bit short.

Rooms

The rooms were spread all over the complex and up to date. However, the promise of a spa bath was misleading as only a regular shower was available.

I spent a relaxing weekend at the hotel, enjoying the beautiful gardens and impressive old part of the property. The staff were courteous and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. However, the absence of air conditioning in our room made it too warm for comfort. The spa area was a highlight, and we plan to return for a treatment next time.

Rooms
7.0
The room was near the spa and featured only one double bed, which was not ideal for sharing with my tall teenage son. The lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortably warm during our stay.
Service
9.0
The staff were amazing and always willing to assist. From arranging a basic breakfast of tea and toast to accommodating special requests, their service was top-notch.
Location
8.0
The hotel's old grandeur and beautiful gardens left a lasting impression. Though we didn't use the spa this time, its presence alone was worth a return trip. The friendly and professional staff added to the overall positive experience.
Dining
8.0
The buffet breakfast had ample choices each morning, including delicious options like fruits, meats, salmon, and cheese. The quality of the morning meal made up for any shortcomings in the room.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were well-maintained, with a variety of amenities to enjoy. Although the rooms were dated, the overall dining experience and beautiful surroundings made our stay satisfying.

The Maryborough Hotel offers beautiful outdoor spaces but the rooms were grubby and dated. Although the hotel is fabulously located in stunning surroundings, my stay was disrupted by another room with a crying baby all night.

The location of the hotel is fab, surrounded by lovely gardens and only a few minutes' drive to the city.
Dining

The dining experience was delicious with a great hot menu selection and a buffet breakfast included in the price. However, the presence of Bernese sausages was a drawback.

The rooms are well-kept, comfortable, and offer great views. However, the children's area needs maintenance, and cleanliness around the entrance could be improved.
